Is a UK Based Record Producer with a prolific career involving some of the UK & Europe’s biggest grossing live and recording acts, in the past 20 years Steve Lyon has, and continues to, contribute to and shape the musical landscape for listeners all around the world.UK Born & bred, Steve is also fluent in Italian and has a command of German, working with artists from all over Europe and North America.

Amongst others, acts & artists that Steve has worked with include: Sir Paul McCartney, Soho Dolls, Amplifier, Karima Francis, EMF, The Cure, Susan Vega and Depeche Mode. Engineering Depeche Modes Violator album which included the hit single "Enjoy the Silence" (a Top 10 hit on both sides of the Atlantic), Violator propelled the band into international stardom. The album yielded two further hit singles, "Policy of Truth" and "World in My Eyes". This album is the first of the band to achieve the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 (number seven) and stand 74 weeks in the chart.

Steve then went on to engineer the following Depeche Mode album "Songs of Faith and Devotion" and then co-produce the “live" album and Video from that tour. The album included the hit singles "I feel you" and "Walking in my shoes." Steve has also worked with another legendary band The Cure recording the Dredd Song for the film Judge Dredd, a cover of Bowie's Young Americans. Working on the Cures seventh album Wild Mood Swings which went straight into almost every top ten around the world. The Cure hit the road once more with 'The Swing Tour', their longest to date, and released 4 more singles from it.
