Festival Spots Up For Grabs!

Over 85, 000 people have watched bands grace the stage at the Gosport Waterfront Festival, and this year, they could be watching you!

We’ve teamed up with the Festival to offer four Live and Unsigned Finalists the exclusive chance to take to the main stage of the Festival.

A weekend packed full of entertainment, the Gosport Festival has attracted thousands of spectators and impressive acts during its five years in operation. The weekend, which takes place on 27th – 29th August 2010, promises to deliver an eclectic mix of music and is fully equipped with a fairground and food stools.

With thousands of programmes distributed at the Festival, Regional media covering the event and over 80, 000 people tuning in to the local radio station, it’s undoubtedly great exposure for unsigned bands and is a fantastic opportunity to get your music heard!

A spokesperson for Live and Unsigned commented, “We’re so excited to be able to offer this to some of our Finalists. The Festival is not only great exposure, but it is fantastic experience and there will be plenty of networking opportunities. We know how hard it can be for bands to secure themselves a festival slot and this represents a great opportunity for them. We can’t wait to watch them perform.”

Festival organiser Dave Smith said, “We’ve seen how Live and Unsigned has grown over the past few years and recognise the quality of acts that are taking part. As well as being a great opportunity for these acts to expose their music, it’ll be great to see a host of talented acts take to the stage. It’s a great platform for up and coming bands and 2010 promises to be the biggest year yet.”

The Festival is predominantly Rock based, so any Rock bands living in the South are encouraged to enter. Please provide a paragraph on why you would like to be considered for the Festival, and a link to your Myspace. Festival slots are offered on a first come first serve basis!
