2010 Live and Unsigned Area Finals Get Underway!

The 2010 Area Finals are about to begin! The Area Finals kick off on 25th April and will be coming to Hayes on 2nd May for the London and South West Final.

Thousands of acts initially auditioned across the country back in February, and now the best unsigned musicians from across the UK will come together to perform in live showcases.

On Sunday 2nd May, the Area Finals will be in the Beck Theatre in Hayes. The acts will be performing in front of a live audience and judging panel. The panel is made up of industry insiders, and on 2nd May will include Radio 1’s longest serving female broadcaster Annie Nightingale, BBC Introducing’s Bethan Elfyn, Radio 1’s Urban presenter and DJ Ras Kwame, legendary drummer Darren Ashford, Head of A&R at Future Music Chris Grayston and producer Steve Lyon. Those who make it through the Area Final will be heading straight to the Live and Unsigned Festival, which is held at the IndigO2 in London in July! There they’ll be battling it out for some fantastic prizes, will perform in front of celebrity and industry guests and they’ll get to grace the stage of the best live music venue in the country!
