Live and Unsigned Area Final Judges Including Radio 1 and Kerrang

The 2010 Area Finals are well and truly underway, with only a few months to go until the Live and Unsigned Festival at the 02 in London!

Thousands of acts initially auditioned across the country back in February, and now the best unsigned musicians from across the UK are performing in live showcases in a bid to make it to the National Grand Final.

On Saturday 8th May, the Area Finals will be in the Corn Exchange in Bedford. The acts will be performing in front of a live audience and judging panel. The panel is made up of industry insiders, and on 8th May will include;

Pop star Dane Bowers

Radio 1 Urban DJ Ras Kwame

Kerrang! Radio’s unsigned expert and presenter Alex Baker

Entertainments Editor of the Bedford Times Paul Fisher

Vocalist Me’sha Bryan - who has sung on tracks for Kylie Minogue, Victoria Beckham and Groove Armada.

Chris Grayston - Head of A&R at Future Music Management

Those who make it through the Area Final will be heading straight to the Live and Unsigned Festival, which is held at the IndigO2 in London in July! There they’ll be battling it out for some fantastic prizes, will perform in front of celebrity and industry guests and they’ll get to grace the stage of the best live music venue in the country!
