More Festival Slots Up For Grabs For Live and Unsigned Winners

You could be playing on the main stage of a Festival this year in front of thousands of people!

Live and Unsigned have teamed up with the Frimchett Festival to offer two acts a slot at the festival this year, including the main stage for the winner of Live and Unsigned 2010!

The Frimchett Festival is a weekend packed full of live music in support of charity Help The Heroes. The event will be held in the grounds of Frimley Lodge Park, Frimley Green Camberley on July 31st and August 1st. Pop star Beverley Knight will be headlining the event and other acts on the bill include Bad Manners, Roachford, Dr Feelgood, Selecta, Jersey Budd, Praying Mantis, The Joe Johnston Band, Lahannya, The Electralytes and many more.

Joe Johnston, Frimchett Director, commented, “Frimchett is proud to announce its support for Live and Unsigned and looking forward to giving its winner’s a slot on the main stages along with Beverley Knight. Frimchett organisers have followed Live and Unsigned for some time and are always surprised at the amount of quality, unsigned artists and groups to emerge. We look forward to welcoming the acts onto the stage this summer.”

There are a variety of stages at the Festival this year including The Sip Stage which holds a 1,000 capacity beer tent and a 1,000 capacity dance tent. There’s also a Freestyle tent on site for any DJ Hero and Rap fans. On top of all this there are also world food stalls, bars, rides and a camping area.

A Live and Unsigned spokesperson added, “There are two festival spots up for grabs this year, including a main stage slot for the winner of the competition. This is fantastic news for anyone taking part in Live and Unsigned this year as we appreciate it can be difficult for bands to secure festival spots. Not only will the acts get to share the stage and meet some well established acts, it’s also great live performance experience!”
